FAQs

Who are you and where are you based?

We’re Direct Leaflets, a professional leaflet distribution service based in Ash Vale. We specialise in reliable, solo (non-bundled) delivery with GPS-tracked proof of delivery. We do offer bundled drops if you would like cheaper rates, but we recommend solo.

What areas do you cover?

We currently cover Surrey and Hampshire (Ash Vale, Camberley, Farnham, Fleet, Aldershot, Guildford, and surrounding towns).
We’re expanding—if you’re just outside these areas, tell us your postcode and we’ll confirm availability or add you to our priority list.

What makes Direct Leaflets different?

  • Solo delivery by default (your leaflet isn’t lost among 4–5 others). We do offer bundles if needed, but we recommend solo.

  • Local, accountable team—no dumping, no shortcuts.

  • Transparent pricing with sensible bulk discounts.

  • Targeting help (street plans, estates, catchments, competitor buffers).

How much does leaflet delivery cost?

Our standard rate is £100 per 1,000 (solo, GPS-tracked, proof included).
Bulk discounts are available—for example:

  • 1,000 from £100 (~£100/1,000)

  • 3,000 from £285 (~£95/1,000)

  • 5,000 from £450 (~£90/1,000)

  • 10,000 from £800–£900, depending on area density and schedule.

For 50k–100k campaigns, we’ll price a tailored plan (typical range £70–£75 per 1,000).

Final quotes depend on access, density, and timing—ask for a street plan quote.

Do you offer shared distribution?

We can, but solo is our core service because it performs best. If you do want shared, we’ll limit partners and keep relevance high.

How do you prove my leaflets were delivered?

Every job includes GPS tracking. You’ll receive a branded proof-of-delivery report with:

  • GPS route map(s)

  • Street/estate coverage summary

  • Notes (access issues, no-deliver zones)
    Optional: photo spot-checks on request.

Can you help choose the best streets/areas?

Yes. We’ll create a one-page street plan for your target: estates, school catchments, new-builds, “Just Sold/Listed” buffers (for agents), or competitor gaps.

How many leaflets can you deliver in a day?

A realistic solo average is ~1,500 leaflets/day (more in high-density terraces, fewer in rural/long-drive areas). We scale walkers to hit your deadlines.

What leaflet sizes do you accept?

Most common: A5 (recommended), A6, DL, and A4 folded. Keep papers 135–170gsm for best letterbox flow. Bulky items slow delivery.

Do you provide design and print?

Yes: We can design and print with you. Or supply your own print—no problem.

How quickly can you start?

Typically 3–7 days from booking, depending on volume and area. Need it sooner? Ask—we keep contingency slots where we can.

What’s the minimum order?

1,000 leaflets.

Do you deliver to flats and gated properties?

lats: Usually yes—subject to access.

Gated/private: Only with permission.
We always respect “No Junk Mail/No Circulars” signage.

What if some addresses can’t be delivered

We allow a small variance (±3%) for inaccessible or excluded properties. Any shortfall is credited or re-delivered by agreement.

Can you avoid delivering alongside competitors?

Yes—our solo model already prevents bundling. If you want exclusive area timing (e.g., no competitor in the same week), tell us and we’ll plan the schedule.

How do I track results?

Add a unique code, QR, or tracking phone/URL to your leaflet. We’ll help with the layout so you can measure calls, visits, and redemptions.

What are your payment terms?

Typically 50% to secure the slot, 50% on completion (report provided). We accept bank transfer

Can you handle recurring campaigns?

Absolutely. Many clients run monthly or two-wave drops (e.g., 1,500 homes one week, 1,500 the next) for higher recall. We can manage retainers with reserved slots. We work through normal rain. For severe conditions that would risk safety or leaflet quality, we pause and reschedule at the earliest slot.
